MCR Committee PresidentÂ
Newnham College, University of Cambridge
Nov 2015 - Nov 2016
I chaired an 18-person committee responsible for representing the Newnham College graduate community to senior levels of administration within the college and wider university, as well as organising the social and welfare calendar for students. This involved liaising with the college Principal and staff, chairing committee meetings, conceptualising and running various events, setting targets for members of the committee, and voting on important decisions within college and the university's student union for the benefit of the Newnham College community.
